AdvantageScope

AdvantageScope is a diagnostics and log‑analysis application for FIRST robotics teams. It can ingest a variety of log formats—including WPILOG, DS log, Hoot (CTRE), REVLOG, Road Runner, CSV, and RLOG—as well as live data streams via NT4, Phoenix, RLOG, or FTC Dashboard. While it works with any WPILib project, it is also tuned for use with the AdvantageKit log‑replay framework, though that framework is not required.

The tool provides flexible visualizations such as 2‑D and 3‑D field plots of robot pose with CAD‑based robot models, synchronized video playback, joystick action displays, and swerve‑drive module vectors. It also offers console message review, log statistics, and a wide selection of graphs and charts. Data can be exported in CSV or WPILOG formats.

Targeted at FRC teams that need to review match data, troubleshoot robot behavior, and present performance metrics, AdvantageScope runs on macOS and is maintained as a stable, open‑source project. Contributions and issue reports are welcomed through its public repository.
