AudioCupcake
Master your audiobook narration and podcasts
AudioCupcake is a macOS application that processes finished audiobook narration and podcast recordings to improve their sound quality with minimal user effort. Users drag and drop WAV or AIFF files into the app, which then applies RMS normalization suitable for ACX and other platforms, allowing a quick transition from a good performance to a more polished one.
The free version performs RMS normalization to a target range of –18 to –23 dB, while an optional paid upgrade adds peak normalization at –3 dB and outputs 192 kHz mono MP3 files ready for upload. The premium features are unlocked directly within the interface via a simple “Go Premium” button.
Designed for narrators, producers, and podcasters who need a straightforward mastering tool, AudioCupcake emphasizes ease of use and a clean visual workflow, requiring only a single drag‑and‑drop step to generate mastered audio. The software is stable, macOS‑only, and available for free download.
