BabelEdit

BabelEdit is a desktop editor for managing translation files used by web and mobile frameworks. It opens JSON, YAML, PHP, ARB, Vue, Properties, RESX, XLIFF and PO files, allowing developers to view and modify keys across multiple language versions simultaneously. The tool recognises the structure of frameworks such as Angular (ngx‑translate), React (react‑intl), Vue, Laravel, Flutter and others, so files can be edited without conversion or import steps.

The application provides a source‑code view, spell‑checking, suggestions for pre‑translation and filters to locate drafts, comments or missing entries. It also supports bulk operations—adding, deleting or renaming keys—across all language files at once, keeping them synchronized and preventing inconsistencies that arise when handling each file separately.
