BaoLianDeng is a native macOS VPN proxy client that leverages the Mihomo (Clash Meta) engine through the NETransparentProxyProvider framework. It intercepts network traffic at the socket level, using a dual‑path DNS approach that routes DNS queries through a remote proxy for clean resolution while retaining local DNS for rule matching. The application integrates a Go‑powered core compiled as an xcframework, eliminating the need for external binaries.

The client offers subscription management for Clash‑style YAML and base64 configurations, allowing users to add, refresh, and switch between proxy lists while tracking usage. It provides smart routing options, including rule‑based, global, and direct modes, and displays node latency indicators for quick selection. Traffic analytics are presented as daily bar charts, session statistics, and monthly summaries, giving real‑time insight into proxy activity.

Per‑application proxy control lets users designate which apps use the proxy or bypass it, with allowlist and blocklist modes accessible via a native macOS app picker. Installation is available as a PKG package, and the source can be built using Go 1.23+ and Xcode.
