Bdash
Modern SQL client application, supports MySQL, PostgreSQL (Redshift) and BigQuery.
Bdash is a lightweight SQL client designed for quick data analysis across several relational and cloud data warehouses. It lets users write and run queries, save them for later reuse, and visualize results as charts directly within the interface. Queries can be exported as GitHub gists, facilitating easy sharing of results.
The application supports a range of data sources, including MySQL, PostgreSQL (and Amazon Redshift), SQLite3, Google BigQuery, Treasure Data, and Amazon Athena. Users can manage multiple connections, browse schemas, and retrieve table definitions without leaving the client.
Bdash also bundles an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that exposes endpoints for AI‑assisted tools such as Claude Code. The server enables programmatic listing of data sources, tables, and saved queries, as well as reading and writing SQL in the editor and creating new queries. The project is open‑source, released under the MIT license, and is considered stable.
