Bear Writer

Bear Writer is a Markdown‑based note‑taking application that lets users capture text, photos, tables and to‑lists within a single note. It provides a minimal, native interface that supports seamless Markdown formatting, image resizing and cropping, and inline sketches drawn with an Apple Pencil or finger. The app also offers flexible tagging with customizable icons and the ability to outline and collapse sections for focused editing.

Notes are synchronized across iPhone, iPad and Mac via iCloud, keeping content up‑to‑date on all devices. Users can export individual notes or collections to a variety of formats, including PDF, HTML, DOCX, JPG, and ePub, and they can search within PDFs and images when using the Pro subscription. Additional Pro features include advanced tag pinning, richer media previews, and a larger selection of themes and icons.
