A multiplayer platformer where players control a beetle climbing a beanstalk, navigating obstacles and using fireballs to out‑maneuver opponents. The game supports both public and private race rooms, with each lobby identified by a short alphanumeric code that avoids ambiguous characters. Players move with WASD, jump with Space, and fire with E, while the physics include landing assistance tuned separately for touch devices and desktop keyboards.

The implementation relies on Three.js for rendering and PartySocket/PartyKit for real‑time multiplayer, creating isolated rooms as Durable Objects on the server. A lightweight analytics hook runs in the background without affecting gameplay. Race codes are generated from a curated alphabet, providing roughly 850 k possible combinations for casual matchmaking.

Designed for the #vibejam 2026 competition, the game emphasizes fast, responsive controls and competitive climbing, allowing participants to start a race, invite friends via a shareable link, or join existing lobbies. The code includes configurable parameters for player radius, movement speed, jump force, and landing assistance to balance challenge and accessibility.
