Bludit
Build a site or blog in seconds. Bludit uses flat-files (text files in JSON format) to store posts and pages.
Bludit is a flat‑file content management system that lets users create a website or blog quickly without a database. Content is stored as JSON files on the server, requiring only a web server with PHP 8.0+ and standard PHP extensions such as mbstring, gd, dom, and json. Installation consists of uploading the extracted files and running a web‑based installer, and the system can also be run with PHP’s built‑in server or via Docker.
The platform supports both Markdown and HTML, offering a Markdown editor and a WYSIWYG editor for authoring. Built‑in SEO tools help improve search‑engine visibility, while GDPR‑compliant design ensures no visitor tracking. Themes and plugins are available from official repositories, allowing visual customization and functional extensions.
Bludit is self‑hostable, free under the MIT license, and maintained as stable open‑source software. It targets individuals or small teams who need a simple, fast, and flexible CMS without the overhead of database management.
