Bluetility

Bluetility is a macOS‑only utility for interacting with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices. It discovers nearby advertising peripherals, lets users sort them by signal strength, and shows advertising data in tooltips. Once a peripheral is connected, the application presents its services and characteristics, permitting reads, writes, and subscription to notifications. All interactions are logged, with the option to export the log as CSV.

The tool targets developers and engineers who need a straightforward way to inspect and communicate with BLE hardware on a Mac. It offers copy‑paste support for characteristic values and automatically reconnects to devices that temporarily disconnect, streamlining debugging and testing workflows.

Bluetility is open‑source and distributed as a downloadable app bundle or via Homebrew Cask, allowing users to modify the code or contribute improvements. Its feature set expands on earlier utilities by adding signal‑strength sorting, advertising data visibility, and robust reconnection handling.
