A built‑in module manager supplies access to a large library of resources that are part of the SWORD Project, supporting more than fifty languages. The manager lets users download, install, and update modules directly within the application, ensuring a wide selection of texts and study aids is available offline.

The software also includes search capabilities and a services feature that enables other programs to retrieve Bible passages through the application.
