FinderGo
Open terminal quickly from Finder.
FinderGo provides a macOS Finder Sync Extension and companion application that lets users launch a terminal emulator directly from the Finder interface. After installing the binary and enabling the extension, a user can right‑click a Finder item or use a toolbar button to open Terminal, iTerm, or Hyper at the selected directory. The default terminal can be switched with simple `defaults write` commands, and the extension’s scripts are installed via a provided shell script that places them in the system’s Application Scripts folder.
The tool is aimed at developers and power users who frequently need a command‑line session in the context of a folder they are browsing. It supports macOS 10.12 and later, and works with the three listed terminal applications. Installation involves copying the binary, running the script to install the extension, and enabling it in System Preferences.
FinderGo is open‑source, released under the MIT license, and distributed as a free‑tier stable release. It includes a small set of configuration steps for changing the default terminal and customizing the toolbar icon.
