Flame
Rendezvous service browser for iPhone / iPod touch
Flame is a network‑service browser that discovers and displays Bonjour (ZeroConf) advertisements on a local wireless network. It runs on iPhone, iPad, and macOS, listing the devices that broadcast services and grouping the entries by host rather than by protocol, which lets users see at a glance which services each machine offers.
When a listed service matches an application installed on the device, Flame provides a direct command to open that application, streamlining the process of connecting to the advertised service. The app supports split‑screen and multi‑window modes on iPad and Mac, and requires iOS 14 or later, macOS 11 or later, and Android 5.0+ (the Android version is less feature‑complete).
The source code is available on GitHub, and the iOS and macOS builds can be obtained from the App Store. Flame is classified as a stable, core macOS product in the productivity category.
