Fmusic

A fmusic is a open source music player on SwiftUI.

Source

A SwiftUI‑based local music player for macOS 11.0 and later, fmusic reads audio files, extracts album metadata and cover art, and supports playback of common formats such as FLAC, MP3, WAV, M4A, AIF and M4R. Users can import music via folder selection, menu commands, or keyboard shortcuts, and navigate the library with a searchable list that matches song titles, artists or albums using fuzzy matching.

The interface offers standard playback controls, including sequential, repeat, shuffle and single‑track loop modes, a draggable progress bar, volume adjustment, and a simple favorites system. Right‑click actions enable editing of metadata, viewing file details, and quick renaming, while the left sidebar can be hidden for a cleaner view. Additional features include automatic lyric download, karaoke‑style synchronized display, and library clearing functions.

The project is open‑source, GPL‑3 licensed, and distributed as a signed, notarized DMG for easy installation. It is considered stable, with ongoing development plans for playlist support and broader macOS compatibility.
