Foodsoft

Foodsoft is a web‑based system that supports the day‑to‑day operations of a non‑profit food cooperative. It provides a shared product catalog, online ordering for members, accounting tools for tracking purchases and finances, and a job‑scheduling component that lets participants coordinate tasks such as deliveries and stock management.

The software is intended for food co‑ops that run a DIY supermarket model, where members choose suppliers, place orders through the platform, and collect goods on designated days. By centralising catalogue information, order processing, financial records and volunteer scheduling, Foodsoft streamlines the collaborative workflow required to keep the cooperative running.

Foodsoft is released under the AGPL‑3.0 license, is self‑hostable, and can be deployed without a subscription or tiered pricing. The project is stable, open source, and encourages community contributions through its wiki, development guides and regular community calls.
