Fusio

Fusio is a self‑hosted platform that functions as an API gateway and management system for turning internal services into public REST APIs. It can expose existing SQL or NoSQL databases directly, route and load‑balance traffic between microservices, and run custom backend logic written in PHP or JavaScript. The system also supports the Model Context Protocol, allowing the same APIs to be used as tools for autonomous AI agents and to generate backend code from natural‑language prompts.

The platform includes a developer portal where third‑party users can discover, test, and obtain keys for the APIs, and it can automatically produce client SDKs for many programming languages.
