Hi.Events provides a self‑hosted, open‑source platform for selling tickets and managing events such as conferences, concerts, festivals, club nights, workshops and other gatherings. Organizers can create customizable event pages, embed ticket widgets on their own sites, and control checkout branding, PDF ticket design and SEO metadata. The system supports a wide range of ticket types—including free, paid, donation and tiered options—along with promo codes, product add‑ons, tax and fee handling, and capacity limits.

Attendee management features include custom checkout questions, bulk messaging, QR‑code check‑in with scan logs, and exportable attendee lists. Real‑time analytics, affiliate tracking, and webhook integrations allow organizers to monitor sales, generate reports and connect to external tools. Multi‑user roles, Stripe Connect payouts, offline payment methods and a full REST API round out the operational capabilities.

Because the software is released under AGPL‑3.0, it can be deployed on any infrastructure without subscription fees, giving event hosts full ownership of their data, branding and revenue while avoiding per‑ticket charges typical of proprietary services.
