Meetable

Minimal events aggregator.

Meetable aggregates events into a simple, self‑hosted website. The home page lists upcoming events and provides an archive view of past ones, while tag pages surface commonly used categories. Each event page includes a cover photo, name, date, time, location, external links, a markdown‑compatible description, and a timezone converter. Users can add photos, blog posts, or notes, and logged‑in users can RSVP via a button. iCal feeds are generated for the main list, tag pages, and individual events, and an “Add to Calendar” link offers iCal files or Google Calendar links.

The platform is built on Laravel and requires PHP 8.2+, Composer, and a MySQL/MariaDB database, with optional Redis support. Installation follows standard Laravel steps: cloning the repository, installing dependencies, configuring the environment, running migrations, and setting up a web server to serve the public folder. Authentication can be configured for passkey login, GitHub, OpenID Connect, Vouch, or Heroku SSO.

Meetable is released under the MIT license, is free to use without subscription, and is positioned for users who want a lightweight, open‑source solution to publish and discover events while providing calendar integration and community contributions through webmentions.
