HTTP Toolkit

The tool provides a proxy that can capture HTTP and HTTPS traffic with a single click, allowing users to target specific clients such as browsers, mobile apps, Docker containers, or backend processes without intercepting all network activity. Captured messages are displayed with automatic parsing of URLs, headers, and bodies, and the interface offers filtering, search, and syntax‑highlighted views for formats like JSON, XML, HTML, and binary data.

Users can pause any request in flight, edit its method, headers, or payload, and either forward the modified request or respond directly, enabling manual debugging and testing of live services. The client also supports sending custom HTTP requests, defining automated rewrite rules, and injecting mock responses for prototyping.

The application runs on macOS, Windows, and Linux, is open source, and integrates with common development environments, making it suitable for developers who need to inspect, modify, or generate HTTP traffic during debugging, testing, or API exploration.
