Rockxy
HTTP proxy
Rockxy is a native macOS proxy that captures HTTP, HTTPS, WebSocket, and GraphQL traffic from applications running on a Mac, iOS devices, or the iOS Simulator. It provides a local‑first workflow for inspecting, modifying, replaying, and exporting network requests, allowing developers to verify what their tools are actually sending and to test edge cases without relying on browser DevTools.
The tool includes a developer setup hub that generates language‑specific proxy snippets and a verification step to confirm that the app, certificate trust, and port settings are correctly configured. When the proxy is not intercepting traffic, the hub points out the problem and suggests a fix, supporting environments such as Python, Node.js, Ruby, Go, Rust, Java, Docker, cURL, and browsers.
Rockxy also offers an optional local MCP server that enables AI assistants to analyze captured flows, explain authentication errors, diff failing requests, or replay calls after modifications. The project is open source under AGPL‑3.0, distributed as a signed universal dmg for macOS 14+ (Apple Silicon and Intel), and can be installed via Homebrew.
