Hush
Block nags to accept cookies and privacy invasive tracking in Safari
Hush is a macOS and iOS Safari extension that automatically dismisses cookie‑consent banners and blocks privacy‑invasive tracking prompts. It integrates natively with Safari, applying a predefined set of rules that suppress these dialogs without requiring user configuration. The extension operates entirely on‑device; it does not collect browsing data, passwords, or crash reports, and nothing is transmitted off the device.
The tool targets users who want a smoother browsing experience on Mac, iPhone, and iPad without manually clicking “Accept” or “Block” on every site. Because it is lightweight—under half a megabyte—and built with SwiftUI, it runs efficiently on modern hardware, including Apple Silicon. Installation is straightforward: download the app, enable it in Safari’s Extensions settings, and it works automatically.
Hush is open source under the MIT license, with its code hosted on GitHub. It is provided free of charge, with no in‑app purchases, and relies on voluntary contributions to cover the Apple Developer fee.
