Invisor Lite

Invisor Lite is a macOS utility that reads technical metadata from video, audio, and photo files. For media streams it reports container details, codec information, subtitles, chapters and other attributes by leveraging the MediaInfo engine. For images it extracts EXIF, IPTC, XMP, GPS and MakerNote tags, allowing users to inspect the full set of embedded metadata.

The application presents the gathered data in a clear, sortable view and supports exporting the information in several formats, including Text, HTML, CSV, XML and JSON. It can also generate comparison tables that can be saved as CSV or HTML, and offers tools to remove geolocation data from images and MPEG‑4 videos as as well as extract cover art and preview thumbnails.

Invisor Lite is the free tier of the Invisor suite. It provides the same metadata extraction capabilities as the full version but omits the export and comparison features. The software runs on macOS 10.13 and later, supporting both Intel and Apple Silicon 64‑bit processors.
