IPTVnator

IPTVnator is an open‑source video player that handles IPTV playlists in m3u and m3u8 formats. Users can load playlists from remote URLs or local files, and the app also accepts radio playlists, Xtream Code and Stalker portal sources. An integrated HTML player supports HLS streams via HLS.js or Video.js, and external players such as MPV or VLC can be invoked.

The application provides electronic program guide (EPG) data in XMLTV format, allowing detailed TV guide information, catch‑up and timeshift features, and per‑channel metadata accessible through a context menu. Channels are organized by groups, searchable globally, and can be marked as favorites, with a consolidated favorites list across all loaded playlists.

Built with Electron and Angular, IPTVnator runs on macOS and other platforms, offering light and dark themes, multilingual support for sixteen languages, and a configurable user‑agent header for playlist requests. A Docker image is available for self‑hosting, and the project is maintained as a stable, community‑driven tool without supplying any content itself.
