Keymapp
ZSA keyboard firmware flasher
Keymapp is a native macOS utility for flashing firmware onto ZSA keyboards. It works alongside the web‑based Oryx configurator, allowing users to load a compiled firmware file and write it to the board directly from the desktop application. The tool also provides a live visual representation of the current layout, updating in real time when layers are switched.
In addition to flashing, Keymapp includes features such as Smart Layers, which can automatically activate specific layers for designated applications, and a dynamic heatmap that highlights the most frequently used keys across layers. These visual aids help users refine ergonomics and balance finger usage without needing external references.
The application bundles the necessary drivers for Windows and offers guidance for Linux setups, while on macOS it can be used alone or together with Chrome. Keymapp consolidates layout viewing, flashing, and training shortcuts into a single interface for ZSA keyboard owners.
