Koillection

A self‑hosted web application for tracking any type of physical collection, such as books, DVDs, stamps or games. Users organize items into collections, attach tags, create wishlists, and define custom metadata. The system includes sharing controls that let owners decide what others can view, and it supports inviting collaborators to manage their own collections on the same server.

The service runs on standard relational databases (PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MySQL) and is packaged as a progressive web app, allowing access from browsers on desktops, smartphones or tablets. An optional REST API provides programmatic access, while the open‑source MIT‑licensed code can be extended with custom HTML scrapers for metadata retrieval.

All data remains on the user’s own infrastructure, offering full privacy and control. The project is stable, free‑tier, and does not require a subscription, with community support through GitHub issues, translations on Crowdin, and a public wiki for installation and updates.
