Lagrange

Lagrange is a desktop graphical client for navigating Geminispace, offering a browsing experience similar to modern web browsers while adhering to Gemini’s minimalist philosophy. It supports smooth scrolling, inline image rendering, multiple tabs, split‑view layouts, and visual themes, along with full Unicode typography and autogenerated page styling for each Gemini domain. Users can manage bookmarks, history, and TLS client certificates, and the interface includes a sidebar for page outlines, bookmark organization, and identity handling.

The application provides smart URL suggestions that search across bookmarks, history, and identities, and it can play audio files in MP3, Ogg Vorbis, and WAV formats. A curses‑based text UI is available as an alternative graphical view, and experimental gamepad controls are supported on all platforms. Lagrange relies on a small set of libraries, is written in C, uses SDL for hardware‑accelerated graphics, and employs OpenSSL for secure communications. It runs on macOS, Windows, Linux (AppImage), and Android, with builds also offered for iOS via TestFlight.
