Users can record detailed information such as brand, caliber, complications, condition, serial numbers, and multiple photos per watch, then browse the collection in a grid view. The app provides tools for tracking accuracy across six positions, monitoring COSC certification status, and observing performance trends over time.

In addition to cataloguing, Lugs supports valuation tracking from several sources, calculates gain or loss against purchase price, and can generate professional‑looking PDF reports for insurance purposes. Service history is logged with cost, provider, and interval data, and reminders help prevent missed maintenance. A randomizer suggests a watch to wear each day, while a wishlist feature lets users set target prices and receive notifications.

All data remain stored locally, with optional anonymous cloud backup for users who purchase the Lugs+ entitlement. No account, email, or tracking is required, and the app works fully offline, emphasizing a privacy‑first design.
