MacLoggerDX

Ham radio logging and rig control software

Visit

The application provides a native macOS environment for ham‑radio operators to log contacts, control radios and antenna rotors, and track satellite passes. It aggregates DX‑cluster spots, filters them for DXing, contesting or casual listening, and can automatically tune supported radios to selected frequencies while moving rotors to the appropriate bearing. Alerts are generated for rare contacts, band openings, and other events, and notifications can be sent via text or email.

Log entries are stored in a fast SQLite database and can be exported or imported in ADIF, SOTA CSV, KML and other formats. The software integrates with popular digital‑mode programs such as WSJT‑X, JTDX and JS8Call, and can upload QSO data to services like Club Log, QRZ Logbook, LoTW, HRDLOG and eQSL. Additional features include 2‑D, 3‑D and web map displays, band‑activity visualisation, CW keyer support, and AppleScript automation.

Support for more than a hundred radio models, rotor controllers, and external tools such as wfview and dogparkSDR is built in, along with daily updates to call‑book databases and beacon tracking. Users can manage awards, QSL generation, DXpedition tracking, and contest‑specific data entry, making the program a comprehensive tool for both casual and serious amateur radio activity.
