Monodraw

Monodraw is a macOS‑only editor that lets users create a‑based graphics such as diagrams, flow charts, mind maps, ER diagrams and banners. It provides a visual canvas where text, lines, rectangles and other drawing primitives can be placed, aligned and connected using a custom CoreText engine. The tool supports orthogonal and staircase lines, custom dash patterns, attachment points, and rectangle shading, allowing complex layouts to be built and edited interactively.

Because the output is plain text, the resulting art can be embedded directly in code, documentation or any other text file, while the application also offers export to PNG and SVG for image use. Built‑in FIGlet support with 148 bundled fonts enables quick creation of stylized text banners, and the editor includes tools for managing infinite‑canvas mind maps and Crow’s Foot ER diagrams in multiple variants.
