MunkiAdmin

MunkiAdmin provides a graphical interface for administering Munki repositories on macOS. It presents repository data through an in‑memory Core Data store, allowing administrators to view and modify package information and manifests without altering the underlying repository structure. The tool is built with Objective‑C and runs on OS X 10.8 or later, requiring only the standard Munki components to be installed.

Intended for system administrators who manage software deployments via Munki, MunkiAdmin complements existing workflows by offering a visual layer while still permitting direct editing of pkginfo files and manifests with a preferred text editor. It does not require configuration changes to the repository and can be used alongside version‑control systems such as git to track modifications.

The application is distributed as a pre‑built binary or can be built from source with Xcode and optional mogenerator for data‑model updates.
