Network Radar
Tool to scan and monitor the network
Network Radar is a macOS utility that scans a local network and presents a list of all connected devices without requiring any initial configuration. After initiating a scan with a single click, the application displays each device’s IP, IPv6, MAC address, vendor information, DNS and mDNS names, NetBIOS details, open ports, response time and other relevant data. The tool also retains records of devices that were online before the first scan, allowing users to review historical presence.
In addition to one‑time scanning, Network Radar can continuously monitor the network and log any changes, such as devices joining or leaving. Users can enable notifications for these events and define custom rules that trigger actions like sending an email when a specific server goes offline or playing a sound when an FTP server connects.
The software targets anyone who needs to discover, troubleshoot, or keep track of devices on a macOS network, offering a straightforward interface and extensible alerting capabilities while remaining a stable, core macOS application.
