Pinboard
Turn visual UI feedback into actionable bug reports
Pinboard lets designers and QA tag UI issues directly on a live website, eliminating the need for screenshots or separate reporting tools. When an element is clicked, the tool records the exact CSS selector and automatically gathers surrounding context such as console logs, CSS styles, network requests, and application state. This information is presented in a single view with trace visualizations that show the sequence of events leading to the bug.
The collected data can be sent with a AI‑powered copilot via the Model Context Protocol, enabling instant generation of code fixes from services like Claude, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot. Issues can also be pushed to external trackers such as Jira, GitHub Issues, or Slack, preserving the element‑specific discussion thread for collaborative review.
Pinboard is aimed at product teams that need a streamlined handoff from discovery to resolution, providing direct element tagging, automatic context capture, and AI‑assisted remediation in one workflow. The service is offered as a browser extension and is currently in an experimental stage.
