quicklook-pfm

The plugin extends macOS Quick Look to render image formats from the NetPBM family. When a file with a .ppm, .pgm, .pfm, or .pbm extension is selected in Finder, the plugin generates a preview without opening a separate application, allowing users to inspect the content directly in the file browser.

It supports the standard variants of these formats: 3‑channel 8‑bit PPM, 1‑channel 8‑bit PGM, 1‑channel 1‑bit PBM, and both 1‑ and 3‑channel 32‑bit PFM files. The implementation is a compiled Quick Look generator that runs on macOS and is distributed as a zip archive. Installation requires copying the plugin into ~/Library/Quicklook and restarting Finder.

The project is offered as a stable release, with precompiled binaries available on GitHub. Users who work with NetPBM images on macOS can preview them quickly without additional software.
