QuickShare
Quick and simple file sharing between different devices.
Quickshare provides a web‑based interface for uploading, downloading, and organizing files and folders across multiple devices. Users can create, delete, move, and search items, with support for resumable transfers and bulk uploads. The service also offers QR‑code scanning to access shared directories and can operate behind CDNs or reverse proxies through streaming uploads.
The application includes a multi‑user system where each account has a role, a dedicated home directory, configurable speed limits, and storage quotas. Permissions can be set to allow anonymous access to shared folders, and the UI adapts to different languages and themes. It runs on Linux, macOS, and Windows and can be managed from the browser or directly from the operating system.
Quickshare is distributed under the LGPL‑3.0 license, is self‑hostable, and offers a free tier without subscription requirements. It can be deployed via Docker, compiled from source, or run as a pre‑built executable, making it suitable for individuals or teams needing a simple, open‑source file‑sharing solution.
