Redesign is a free, MIT‑licensed design tool that integrates with Claude Code to generate social‑media posts (LinkedIn, Instagram, Reddit) directly from a project’s existing codebase. After a one‑command installation, the tool registers a Claude‑compatible MCP and launches a local web interface where users describe the desired layout. Claude then assembles the post using components it extracts from the repository, such as cards, buttons, icons, and charts, preserving the site’s colors, fonts, and spacing.

The workflow relies on the codebase itself as a style guide, eliminating the need for manual design of each asset. Users can edit the generated code, preview changes live, and save layers as reusable assets for future posts. The system operates locally, requires Node 20+ and Claude Code, and does not store any API keys.

Redesign targets developers and designers who want to automate the creation of brand‑consistent social content while reusing existing UI components. Its distinctive approach is the direct coupling of a code repository with an AI‑driven design process, allowing rapid, repeatable generation of posts without external cloud services.
