The program lets users import one or more 3D models, then place, scale, rotate, or duplicate them on a virtual print bed. After arranging the objects, it can slice the model using various slicers with preset optimal settings, and provides a preview that can be examined by region or layer. The resulting G‑code can be sent directly to a printer via USB, TCP/IP, SD card, or through Repetier‑Server, and status messages can be received on mobile devices.

It supports multi‑extruder printers and works with most popular FDM hardware, offering manual control, a G‑code editor, and the ability to print multiple parts in a single job. The software bundles several slicers (Slic3r, CuraEngine, Skeinforge) and includes the necessary runtime components for Windows, Linux, and macOS installations.
