Reservo is a self‑hostable script that provides image and video storage with features such as automatic thumbnail generation and resizing for over 200 formats, drag‑and‑drop multi‑file upload, and a responsive user interface. It includes a secure image manager that supports nested albums, password protection, and various privacy settings, as well as an admin panel for managing users, payments, themes, plugins, and translations.
The platform can be integrated with external storage services and content delivery networks to improve scalability and performance. It also offers mechanisms for monetization, allowing operators to sell paid account upgrades with additional storage or to display advertising spots on the hosted content.
All source code is supplied without encoding, and the software is built with protections against XSS and SQL injection, having been deployed on thousands of sites. The current stable release is version 1.7, dated 1 April 2018.
