The software provides a self‑hosted solution for real‑time H.264 video streaming directly to a website, eliminating the need for external streaming providers. It accepts streams from IP cameras, USB cameras, Raspberry Pi cameras, or any H.264 encoder, and can re‑encode other formats to H.264 for broad browser compatibility. An integrated HTML5 player delivers HD, Full‑HD, and 4K video with audio, while a built‑in HTTP/S (HLS) server makes the stream accessible without plugins.

A web‑based interface guides users through wizard‑style configuration of inputs, outputs, and protocols such as RTMP, SRT, and HLS. The system supports simultaneous publishing to platforms like YouTube‑Live, Twitch, Facebook, Vimeo, and Wowza, and offers optional features including audio channel muxing, JPEG snapshots, and bandwidth monitoring. Docker images run on Linux, macOS, Windows, and single‑board devices such as Raspberry Pi, with optional hardware acceleration via Nvidia CUDA, Intel VAAPI, or Raspberry Pi MMAL/OMX.

The project is open source under Apache‑2.0, free of subscriptions, and includes a documented REST API, Swagger documentation, and optional Prometheus metrics. It provides password‑protected access, automatic Let's Encrypt HTTPS, and GDPR‑compliant handling of viewer data, giving users full control over their video content.
