Script Kit is an open‑source desktop application that lets developers create and execute automation scripts using TypeScript. Users can describe a desired task in natural language, and the built‑in AI generator produces a script that opens in the editor of their choice. Once written, the script can be run directly from a prompt or command palette, reducing the effort required to automate routine workflows.

The tool includes a TypeScript SDK with ready‑made UI components and helper functions, enabling quick access to files, clipboard, system, network, text, image, audio, and video resources. Scripts can be launched from anywhere on the system, and the app supports a script‑generated editor UI for building and testing scripts interactively.
