Displays folders and archives of images and PDF files
Sequential is an image viewer for macOS that opens a folder of images and presents them in order. It supports common image formats such as JPEG, PNG and GIF, and can also display PDF files. In addition to local directories, the application can read archives—including ZIP, RAR, CBZ and CBR—so users can browse comics, manga or any grouped image collections without extracting them first.
The program can load images directly from the internet via page or image URLs, allowing remote content to be viewed alongside local files. Full‑screen mode is fully supported, and Exif metadata for displayed images can be shown on demand.
Sequential is released under a BSD license, has been maintained since 2007, and is classified as a stable macOS‑only productivity tool.
