Site Sucker
Automatically downloads websites.
SiteSucker is a macOS application that copies an entire website to a local drive. By entering a URL, the program asynchronously retrieves webpages, images, PDFs, style sheets and other linked files, preserving the original directory hierarchy. The downloaded content can be “localized” so that it can be browsed offline, or left unmodified for other uses. Users can save the download configuration in a document, pause an ongoing transfer, and later resume it from the saved point.
The tool runs on both Intel and Apple‑silicon Macs with macOS 12 Monterey or newer, and it supports multiple languages including English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, and Traditional Chinese. It is intended for users who need to create local copies of sites they are authorized to access, such as developers, researchers, or anyone requiring offline browsing.
A Pro variant extends the functionality to download embedded video content from platforms such as YouTube, Vimeo, WordPress and Wistia, offering additional media‑capture capabilities while retaining the same asynchronous, directory‑preserving approach.
