Sky

Sky.app provides a native macOS interface for the Bluesky Social platform. It lets users read, post, and interact with content directly from the desktop, supporting Dark Mode synchronization, notification badges for unread messages, and a range of keyboard shortcuts for quick navigation and posting. The client offers both Compact and Desktop layout modes, each with dedicated shortcuts for Home, Search, Chat, Notifications, Feed, Lists, Profile, and Settings, as well as shortcuts for actions such as opening links in a browser or copying share URLs.

The application is built for macOS and can be installed either by downloading a signed DMG from the project's release page or by cloning the repository and building it in Xcode. Updates are managed through Sparkle, and the app includes features like Mute Terms to filter content, advanced translation windows, and customizable navigation behavior. Development is led by @jcsalterego, and the UI incorporates an icon based on a publicly available photograph.
