The library adds a dynamic overlay that loads external URLs inside the current page, keeping visitors on the site while they browse linked content. It works by inserting a CSS file and a minified JavaScript file, then enabling the feature with a data‑slideframe attribute on the body or on individual anchor tags. When active, the overlay slides in with a title bar that shows either the link’s title attribute or its text.

Designed for developers, the tool is framework to integrate with any HTML/CSS/JS site, including those built with Bootstrap, jQuery, or common CMS platforms. It respects standard security limits, so links from HTTPS to non‑HTTPS destinations or sites that block framing via CORS or SOP will be excluded automatically. Mobile browsers are supported, and default link behaviors such as opening in a new tab remain unchanged.

The project is open source and positioned as an experimental utility for reducing bounce rates by presenting external content in‑page, while allowing developers to opt out of specific links through a simple data attribute.
