SpaceRadar provides interactive visualizations of disk usage and memory consumption. It can display data as sunburst, treemap, or flamegraph charts, updating the view while a scan proceeds. The tool scans filesystems faster than the traditional du command, supports cancellation or pause/resume, and shows free space alongside occupied areas. Users can drill down through directories with breadcrumb navigation, open files or folders in the native file manager, and read pre‑generated du listings—including gzipped files—allowing remote analysis.

The application runs on macOS, Windows, and Linux, with native Apple Silicon (arm64) builds. Visual rendering leverages Canvas 2D for performance, and the interface includes color‑blind‑friendly palettes, experimental 3D sunburst mode, and automatic update notifications. Memory usage is broken down per platform, and real‑time statistics such as file counts, scan speed, and errors are displayed during operation.
