SuperHQ
Run AI coding agents in real microVM sandboxes
SuperHQ provides an environment where AI coding agents such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, and custom agents run inside isolated microVM sandboxes. Each agent operates in its own microVM, and a secure authentication gateway ensures that API keys remain outside the sandbox. The tool is designed for macOS 14+ on Apple Silicon and can be installed via Homebrew.
The application lets users monitor and control agents remotely. By scanning a QR code, a phone can pair with the Mac, displaying active workspaces, streaming agent output, and allowing users to reply, approve diffs, or execute commands from a mobile browser. No additional app installation is required on the phone.
Feedback from developers highlights the microVM plus tmpfs overlay approach, which keeps workspaces clean while agents modify code, and the ability to review and merge changes before they affect the repository. The project is currently experimental and not yet notarized, requiring a one‑time unblock step on macOS.
