Superuser

Superuser lets developers create AI‑driven agents that can be used inside team chat environments. An agent combines a language model with a set of tools—such as web search, image generation, SQL queries, or custom APIs—so it can retrieve information, produce media, or interact with databases on demand. Users can either employ agents‑built agents contributed by the community or assemble their own from scratch, supplying the desired tools and context sources like markdown documents or web pages.

The platform exposes tools as JavaScript‑based serverless functions that are automatically managed for authentication, security, billing, and version control. These functions can be called via HTTP or MCP bindings, making them usable both within Superuser agents and from external code. A registry of available tools simplifies discovery and reuse across projects.

Agents can be deployed directly to Discord, Slack, or used through Superuser’s own chat interface, providing a unified way to give team communication a programmable “brain.” The service is currently in an experimental stage and is offered with a free entry point.
