Timelane.app provides a macOS‑based entry point for using the Timelane Instrument, a profiling tool designed specifically for asynchronous code. The application bundles the instrument’s installation package and offers step‑by‑step guidance to set up profiling, including a clickable package icon that initiates the instrument’s installation. After placing the app in the Applications folder, users follow the built‑in instructions or refer to the online documentation at timelane.tools to begin collecting performance data from their asynchronous workloads.

The app includes a demonstration project that illustrates how to integrate the instrument with a sample codebase, allowing developers to explore the profiling workflow before applying it to their own projects. The demo is hosted on GitHub and can be used as a reference implementation. All components are distributed under the MIT License, and the software is maintained as a stable release for macOS environments.
