Trailer
Managing Pull Requests and Issues For GitHub & GitHub Enterprise
Trailer is a macOS application that connects to a GitHub or GitHub Enterprise account via a personal API token. It aggregates pull requests and issues from the repositories a user watches and presents them in the system Notification Center as well as within the app’s own interface. The tool categorizes items into sections such as “Mine,” “Participated,” “Mentioned,” “Merged,” “Closed,” and “All,” and can optionally display labels and continuous‑integration status information.
Users can filter and search the list of items in real time by typing, and selecting a menu entry, notification, or comment opens the corresponding page on GitHub. The menu bar icon indicates unread activity with a red badge, and the application offers configurable options while remaining lightweight.
The software targets developers and teams who need to stay informed about GitHub activity without switching between browsers or the GitHub web UI, providing a centralized view of comments, merges, status updates, and other notifications across multiple repositories.
