Wavelog

Webbased Logging Software for Radio Amateurs. Enhanced QSO logging, statistics and maps for your browser.

Wavelog is a self‑hosted PHP application that lets amateur radio operators record contacts directly from a web browser. It runs on a classic LAMP stack or via a prebuilt Docker image, requiring only a Linux‑based system (Windows stacks are also possible) and a MySQL/MariaDB database. The interface supports easy entry of QSO data, CAT integration through the WLGate tool, and optional DXcluster filtering for real‑time band activity.

The software includes mapping tools that generate customizable visualizations of logged contacts, and a statistics engine that reports grids worked, daily activity, and distance metrics. It also tracks progress toward more than twenty recognized radio awards and offers QSL management with automatic syncing to services such as eQSL, LoTW, HRDlog, and QRZ.com.

Wavelog supports multi‑operator and club‑station environments, allowing seamless switching between operators and stations, and it is available in multiple languages contributed by the community. The project is released under the MIT license, is open‑source, and does not require a subscription.
