ZXPInstaller

ZXPInstaller provides a graphical interface for installing Adobe .X Package (.zxp) extensions on macOS and Windows. It serves as a replacement for Adobe’s Extension Manager, which was discontinued after Creative Cloud 2015, allowing users to add new functionality to Adobe applications without using the legacy tool. The installer simply copies the .zxp files into the appropriate location for the selected Adobe product, making the extension available for use.

Because it focuses solely on installation, ZXPInstaller does not include features for managing, updating, or uninstalling extensions after they are placed. Users who need only to add extensions can run the program, select the .zxp file, and complete the installation in a few clicks. The software is open source, has a stable release, and is distributed for both macOS and Windows platforms.
