Adze

Adze provides a macOS‑only interface for creating, modifying, and cleaning GPX files. Users can add, move, or delete track points, adjust waypoints, and edit metadata such as titles, authors, and descriptions. The application also supports splitting and merging tracks, fixing or removing timestamps, and extracting detours as separate tracks.

For planning excursions, Adze lets you design routes, place waypoints, check distances, and preview the path on road, topographic, or satellite maps before exporting the GPX data to a device. It can automatically detect rest stops and split tracks at those locations, as well as generate statistics on duration, speed, elevation, and gradient for whole documents or selected sections.

Additional utilities include tidying documents by removing redundant data, changing item names and colors, and exporting maps to KML for use in Google Earth. The tool is positioned for users who need detailed, graphical control over GPS data without requiring command‑line operations.
